Rescuing Heroes Requires a Village of Fosters and Volunteers
Our mission to rehabilitate German Shepherds and pair them with veterans is only possible through the dedication of our local community members who open their hearts and homes.
Foster Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older with a valid government ID.
- All existing pets in the home must be up-to-date on vaccinations and spayed/neutered.
- Provide a safe, indoor living environment and a secure, fenced yard for exercise.
- Available to transport the dog to approved veterinary appointments and adoption events.
- Commitment to following rescue-approved training methods and providing daily socialization.
- Willingness to participate in the screening process for potential permanent adopters.
Dog Walking
Spend one-on-one time with our rescues, providing the exercise and enrichment they need to stay healthy and happy.
Ways to Give Time

Transport
Help transport dogs between shelters, foster homes, and veterinary appointments throughout the Colorado area.
